This boutique guesthouse is family owned and run by Olim from California, who have made their home in the mystical hills of ancient Tzfat. They acquired the property when it was still an unrenovated collection of hand-built domes. Through vision, love, patience and hard work they were blessed to open their guesthouse doors in 2010. Since then they are pleased to continually offer personalized hospitality, including a room-service Kosher Mehadrin* breakfast, to guests from Israel and around the world.
Welcome
Situated in the heart of Tzfat's Old City in the Upper Galilee of Northern Israel, the Artist Quarter Guesthouse is a beautiful Kosher Mehadrin* Bed and Breakfast that combines ancient charm with modern amenities. The warmly appointed guest accommodations have newly restored 300-year-old stone domed rooms, as well as a garden courtyard with dining areas and a rooftop balcony with spacious sitting areas and a breathtaking view of Mount Meron.
Our Two Guest Accommodations: The Studio & The Suite
The Studio
The studio, a newly restored 300-year-old stone domed room, is the size of a standard hotel room. It features a well stocked kitchenette, an inviting dining table, a sitting space, a private bathroom, and the amenities you need to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. The studio is warmly decorated with a tasteful ethnic aesthetic. A room-service Kosher Mehadrin* breakfast is included in the rate.
The Suite
The suite has a layout of a one bedroom house with 300-year-old, newly restored stone domed rooms with vaulted ceilings. It features a living room with a well stocked kitchenette, a dining table and an inviting sitting area. In addition there is a spacious bedroom and a private full bathroom. The suite is warmly decorated in a Kabbalistic and Middle Eastern blend. A room-service Kosher Mehadrin* breakfast is included in the rate.

5 stars!! We spent the most wonderful 3 days in Tzfat at the Artist Quarter Bed and Breakfast. Joy and Evan were the most wonderful hosts. We stayed over Shabbat and they had everything ready for us. They made us feel so welcome as if we were staying with family, and they were there to help with whatever we needed. The accommodation was cosy and comfortable, very clean and had a most special atmosphere. It was a truly memorable stay and we would highly recommend it.
We stayed in the Artist Quarter Guesthouse for one night. We had a wonderful time. The room was beautiful, neat and clean, and very well cared for. I can’t even describe the beauty of the room and courtyard. The owners are kind and helpful, and Joy gave us a delicious breakfast. We enjoyed our stay, and it was the highlight of our visit to Tzfat.

The Artist Quarter Guest House was wonderful. We were 4 adults and 3 children and we hired out both units which worked beautifully. The location was superb. The units were beautiful and spotless. The hosts were amazing. Breakfast was wonderful. All in all I would highly recommend it.
We spent 3 nights at the Guesthouse and loved the room, location and most of all, Evan and Joy. Evan and Joy gave us a warm welcome and were extremely helpful with suggestions on what to visit, directions and the like. The Guesthouse building is hundreds of years old and you feel the history of the place. The room was extremely comfortable and well appointed. Once we figured out how to walk to different parts of the old town we realized that the Guesthouse had the perfect location to Old City points of interest. I cannot imagine a nicer place to stay or more friendly hosts in Tzfat.
